Tasks

  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware-based server systems including OS and applications
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of virtual server systems including OS and applications on common virtualization platforms
  • Configuration and maintenance of network infrastructure
  • Maintenance of the employees’ technical infrastructure
  • Processing technical inquiries from employees

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of Linux Server incl. common server/network applications (LAMPP stack, Nginx, Squid, Haproxy, …)
  • In-depth knowledge of virtualization in the data center (Vmware, Proxmox, …)
  • Knowledge of network administration (firewall, VLAN, routing)
  • Knowledge of desktop Linux/Windows/Mac OS and common office application software
  • Enjoy dealing with people
  • Good command of spoken and written German and English
  • Place of work is 85748 Garching near Munich
  • Hybrid way of working (“home office”/Garching) is possible
