DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

As a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) you are part of our internal development department and work on the continuous development of our internal development, build and test environments. You will support the team in creating an efficient, scalable and automated infrastructure that optimally supports the entire software development cycle.

We are looking for YOU!

Tasks

  • Development and maintenance of automation solutions using Ansible and Terraform for our internal systems
  • Establishment and further development of CI/CD pipelines in GitLab to support internal development processes
  • Creation and customization of Bash and Python scripts to automate recurring processes in the development environment
  • Ensuring the smooth operation of our internal Linux environments
  • Management and maintenance of Git repositories for the internal code base
  • Automated administration and management of tools such as Proxmox, oVirt, Keycloak and Kea DHCP as well as the integration and management of environments with typical cloud providers (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) using Ansible, Terraform or comparable technologies

Requirements

  • Sound experience with Ansible and Terraform for the automation of IT infrastructures
  • Good knowledge of Linux administration (Debian, Red Hat, Ubuntu etc.)
  • Knowledge of Python for the development of automation tools and scripts
  • Experience with bash scripting
  • Routine in dealing with Git and GitLab for versioning and automation
  • Understanding of CI/CD principles and their implementation in GitLab
  • Enthusiasm for open source technologies and the DevOps approach
  • Strong problem-solving skills and initiative
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex topics in an understandable way
  • Ability to work in a team and enjoy collaborating in agile projects
