ATIX at IT-Tage 2024

IT-Tage 2024 in Frankfurt am Main was a complete success, and we at ATIX AG were thrilled to be a part of this important event. From December 9 to 12, the IT community gathered to discuss the latest technologies, exciting presentations, interactive workshops and our stand – we were right in the middle of it all and would like to share our impressions in this blog.

Our workshops and lectures

As experts in open source solutions and IT automation, we contributed our know-how in several sessions, which were met with great interest. Particularly noteworthy are:

Terraform und GitLab: Infrastructure as Code

This session offered a comprehensive insight into the effective use of Terraform in combination with GitLab. The presentation was given by Dr. Martin Grundei, who showed how to achieve scalability and efficiency with Infrastructure as Code.

From the Puppet module to orchestrated IT with orcharhino

This presentation was also led by Dr. Martin Grundei. There was a live demonstration of how orcharhino can be used to develop Puppet modules into a comprehensive orchestrated IT landscape.

Kubernetes: Introduction and deep dive in one day

In this full-day workshop, Dr. Pascal Fries introduced the participants step by step to the world of Kubernetes. From the basics to in-depth technical details, participants were able to expand their knowledge and acquire practical skills.

Event-Driven Ansible: An introduction

This session was presented by Dr. Ottavia Balducci. It gave a hands-on introduction to the world of Event-Driven Ansible and how it takes automation to the next level.

Our stand: a place for innovation, networking and fun

Our stand was a central meeting point where innovation, networking and fun merged seamlessly. In addition to exciting conversations, visitors were able to enjoy a cold beer, which created a relaxed atmosphere. Visitors had the opportunity to dive deep into the world of ATIX and experience our tools and products first-hand. The live demo of orcharhino was particularly impressive and attracted many interested visitors. This solution, which automates and optimizes IT processes, was presented in detail by our experts and answered numerous questions from visitors.

Our game Flappy orcharhino entertained everyone. Players enthusiastically tried to beat their high scores while being introduced to the world of orcharhino in a fun way. Cool refreshments and original goodies were also on offer, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Visitors were not only able to learn something new, but also take a piece of ATIX home with them.

Conclusion

IT-Tage 2024 was a great opportunity for us to share our expertise, make new contacts and be inspired by the community. We would like to thank everyone who attended our presentations, visited our stand and spoke with us. The exchange was incredibly valuable and we look forward to incorporating the impressions gained into our work.
