Donation to Animal Equality from our DevOps team

This year you have decided to support Animal Equality with your donation. How did this come about?

Everyone in the team suggested an organization and then we voted. I think the main reason we chose Animal Equality was because it campaigns for farm animals, which is unfortunately very rare. Unlike pets, so-called farm animals are the forgotten animals of our time.

Is there anything else that makes this organization special and was important to you?

Yes, Animal Equality is one of the most efficient and effective organizations in the world working for the rights of farmed animals and has offices in seven other countries in addition to Germany. It was particularly important to us that we achieve the greatest possible effect with our team donation! We also find it particularly exciting that Animal Equality not only draws attention to the suffering of animals, but also pursues various approaches to find solutions, e.g. through political work and changes in large companies.
