In our OpenShift training the participants will learn the basics of OpenShift and the orchestration of containers in 3 days You will learn everything necessary to build and manage a container cluster, as well as the most important concepts and best practices for the stable and secure operation of applications in the OpenShift cluster.

The training is a combination of lecture and practical exercises. The exercises are based on the everyday operation of OpenShift clusters. Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to deploy, manage and operate their applications in an OpenShift cluster, link the applications to externally accessible, load-balanced services and ensure the persistence of their applications’ data.

This course is intended for participants who have already gained initial experience with containers. After a short container introduction, the structure of an OpenShift cluster is explained and a basic understanding of how to use the cluster is created. The details of deploying an application are taught and the OpenShift objects that can manage the entire life cycle of an application are introduced. Load balancing and perstistent storage are addressed, as well as infrastructure applications that enable logging and monitoring, for example.
