What does the Linux-Stammtisch offer?

The Linux-Stammtisch Munich is a networking event and is aimed at those who want to use or already use Linux in the data center. Exciting talks in a cozy atmosphere offer the ideal platform to network and exchange practical business and expert knowledge.

  • Topic: Observability
  • program:
    • 1. Talk: “Tracing”Sascha Rauch, Technical Communicator, ATIX AG
While logging and monitoring have been considered in the planning of architectures for years, the topic of tracing fell by the wayside for a long time. However, a fully comprehensive request tracing offers important insights, especially in distributed systems and from the point of view of microservices.
    • 2. Talk: “Monitoring”Vincent Welker, IT-Consultant, ATIX AG
Host Machine, Host OS, Build Pipeline, Network, Container Runtime, Container Orchestrator, Database, Application, Cloudservices … Would be nice to know about the performance of your infrastructure & application. Wishful thinking becomes reality.
    • 3. Talk: “Logging”Daniel Meng, IT-Consultant, ATIX AG
Applications generate logs for logging events in the program flow. In ever larger system landscapes, an innumerable number of entries quickly arise. However, with the right open source tools, it is possible to always keep track.
