CentOS

CentOS is an open source Linux operating system primarily known for its binary compatibility with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
It is based on the sources of RHEL and is provided
by the community. It does not require a subscription, so that any number of systems can be operated.
As an enterprise Linux, CentOS is primarily designed for operation on servers, in contrast to Debian and Ubuntu, although there are also graphical desktop environments and applications.
